Holday Activities Summer 2012

HENS THEATRE WORKSHOPS

Hens will be running a number of theatre workshops for us in the summer, these fun workshops prove to be popular every year which is why we have asked them back.

Lodge Farm School – Mobbsbury Way

Film and Special Effects 7-14yrs

This film and special effects day will involve making your own stories and films and learning how to create bruises, scars, cuts and gashes, for that special effect. Parents are invited to come back 15mins before the end so we can show you what we have made.

7^th August 10am-3pm

Marriotts Sports Centre – Telford Avenue

Musical Medley 5-14yrs

A workshop featuring songs and dances from successful and well known musicals. Parents are invited to come back 15mins before the end so we can show you what we have learnt.

16^th August 10am-3pm

Marriotts Sports Centre – Telford Avenue

Fashion, Costume and Prop Making 7-16 yrs

Create outfits clothes and props of your choice, the workshop leaders will guide and help students to make great outfits and learn how they can make their own outfits and props.

21^st August 10am-3pm Marriotts Sports Centre – Telford Avenue

Lion King 5-14 yrs

This workshop features songs from the Lion King movie and musical, songs and dance routines will be learnt during the day and performed at the end of the workshop. Parents are invited to come back 15mins before the end so we can show you what we have learnt.

28^th August 10am-3pm

Marriotts Sports Centre – Telford Avenue

Quiz Show Workshop 7-14yrs

This workshop starts with games and children create a team name + logo. Then as teams they compete in a variety of quizzes from challenges from the cube, egg heads, the generation game and family fortunes. This is a fun workshop with a variety of physical and mental challenges.

Theatre workshops cost just £10 per child per day

YOUNIQUE STREETDANCE

Asha is back to run more fun streetdance workshops this summer, children will learn a dance routine and take part in fun games and activities that break up the dancing
